JAN MNICH
Jan has been working as an artist for the last 30 years. Her paintings are all watercolours
a medium which Jan finds most appropriate for the qualities she tries to achieve.
In 2000 Jan exhibited \'Purple Flower\' at The Royal Watercolour Society, London. Since then
she has shown her work in various galleries and exhibitions throughout the south of England,
and also regularly exhibits in her own open house, Mnich\'s Mix, during the Brighton Festival.
Colour atmosphere is probably the most significant challenge with the environments she
tries to evoke.
Travelling, landscape and architecture are great inspirations for her. Recent work has
been influenced by the light in the mediterranean, Turkey, Egypt and Morocco. Jan\'s other
inspirations are water, in particular it\'s changing quality and the way it reflects its
surroundings.

SARA HILL
Sara Hill is exhibiting figurative and abstract oils at the Brighton Festival for the 12th
year.
I am a full-time artist, I have had 70 shows countrywide. A recent visit to berlin resulted
in immediate sales and two successful exhibitions.
BBC 2\'s sketch show \'That Mitchell & Webb Look\' featured a dozen paintings, my abstracts
appeared in an ITV production of \'The Shell Seekers\' and a commission of pastels was shown
on BBC 1\'s \'Randall & Hopkirk Deceased\' remake.
The last few years have seen many London exhibitions and art fairs, regular shows in Edinburgh,
Datchet, Southwold and Radlett. Also I have had shows in Manchester, Epping, Fife, York,
Halstead, Trowbridge, Nottingham, Emsworth, Canterbury, Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford and
a number of corporate shows.
I am busy now working on paintings for future exhibitions around the country, with a mixture
of figurative and abstract oils on canvas; colourful, energetic and thought-provoking.
